Football is a sport of matchups within matchups. Our NFL module evaluates:

Offensive vs. Defensive Matchups

We grade each team's offense against the opposing defense across key categories — passing efficiency, rushing attack, red zone performance, and turnover differential.

Game Pace & Scoring Environment

Is this a shootout or a defensive slugfest? Our model projects the likely scoring environment based on each team's pace and defensive tendencies.

Key NFL Metrics

• Confidence Score: Overall analytical confidence in the matchup pick.

• Cappa Edge: Model vs. market divergence.

• Competitive Balance: How close the teams are in overall quality.

• Line Movement: Tracking where the odds are moving pre-game.

• Likely Finish: Projected game script — blowout, close game, or overtime candidate.

NHL Analytics

Hockey presents unique analytical challenges — goaltending variance, special teams impact, and fast-paced gameplay. Our NHL module addresses all of them.

Goaltending Analysis

Goaltending is the single biggest variable in hockey. We evaluate starting goaltender stats including save percentage, goals against average, and recent form.

Special Teams Impact

Power play and penalty kill efficiency can swing games. Our model factors in each team's special teams performance and discipline metrics.

• Defense Grade: Shot suppression and defensive structure.

The Same Framework, Sport-Specific Tuning

While the core AI formula is consistent across sports, each module is tuned with sport-specific weights and indicators. An NFL model needs to care about weather and travel; an NHL model needs to prioritize goaltending. Our system adapts accordingly.
